Woof Wear Hi Vis Riding Vest – Yellow
Move with confidence at dusk, in darkness and on winter days with Woof Wear’s Hi Vis Riding Vest in yellow—a LED-enhanced reflective vest designed specifically for equestrians. The vest combines hi-vis fabric, wide reflective bands and active lighting to create a clear 360° signature that helps drivers see you sooner. Despite the tech, the fit stays light and flexible and adjusts to everything from thin training tops to thick winter jackets.

Triple safety protection
White LEDs on the front clearly mark your position to oncoming traffic, while red LEDs on the back show where you are to those approaching from behind. Reflective strips boost visibility in headlights, and the large rear caution triangle increases driver awareness—especially effective on bends, hills and changing woodland backgrounds. The result is an intuitive front/rear light pattern that mirrors familiar road-safety logic.

LED & power
Choose between three programmes: steady light, fast flash (3 Hz) and slow flash (1.5 Hz) to match conditions.
IMPORTANT: Power bank not included. The vest has a fixed charging cable in the left zipped pocket where you connect your own power bank to power the LEDs.
As a rule of thumb, an external power bank of around 5000 mAh provides up to 12 hours on steady or up to 40 hours on slow flash (temperature and usage dependent).

Comfort, fit & operation
Lightweight, soft and quiet in use. A centre zip makes on/off quick, while adjustable side straps and an elastic gusset fine-tune the fit over different layers. Two roomy zipped pockets hold a phone, keys and snacks. The large power button on the chest is glove-friendly, and the LED band lies flat against the body to avoid snagging on reins or kit.

Materials & durability
The hi-vis fabric is water-resistant and easy to wipe clean, making the vest practical in showers, on wet roads and in muddy gateways. Smooth reflective bands are robust for daily yard and hacking use.
Equestrian-led design
Cut to balance coverage and freedom of movement: shorter in front for saddle comfort with back coverage that stays put in trot and canter. The low weight and flat finish make it comfortable over a body protector and under jackets.

Sizes & colour
Available sizes: Junior Small/Junior Medium, Junior Medium/Junior Large, Small, Medium, Large, XLarge.
Colour: Hi Vis Yellow.
The adjustable sides give generous range for summer and winter layering, so one vest can cover multiple seasons.

Back in 1989, Louise Woof launched the groundbreaking "Woof Boot", the very first iron-on gaiters made from neoprene - until then, leather gaiters had been used. This was a huge step forward as it meant that horses could now wear leg protection in a lightweight material rather than the heavier leather gaiters. For more than 40 years now, Woof Wear has been at the forefront of equestrian equipment for horse and rider, and its products are appreciated around the stables by professionals, hobby riders and the British police.
