Woof Wear | Hi Vis LED Tail Light

Color: Hi Vis Pink

What´s in the box: 1 red rechargeable LED clip light | 1 pink reflective mounting strip with dual non-slip straps | 1 charging lead

Woof Wear LED Hi Vis Tail Light – Hi Vis Pink is designed for riders who want to be visible immediately—without hassle. When you ride on the road, at dusk, in fog, or in changeable weather, it’s crucial that drivers and other road users can quickly understand where you are and how far away you are. This tail light combines three powerful safety layers in one solution: Hi-Vis Pink, a reflective strip, and an active LED light. The result is strong rear visibility that helps in both daylight and low-light conditions.

Three-stage visibility
  • Hi-vis pink delivers high contrast against both dark and light backgrounds.
  • The reflective strip returns light from headlights and street lighting, making you more visible from a distance.
  • The rechargeable LED light acts as a clear signal for traffic approaching from behind.
Secure attachment - Non-slip fit
The tail light is fastened with two elasticated straps with silicone grips, helping it stay stable in place. This provides a reliable non-slip fit, so the accessory won’t move around while riding. This is especially beneficial when the horse is moving actively, or when you ride over varied terrain and at changing pace.
  • REMEMBER: The horse’s tail is a sensitive area, and pressure/compression can affect both sensation and tail carriage. Therefore, we recommend making a thick braid in the tail and mounting the tail light through the braid (instead of tightening it directly around the tail). This helps distribute pressure and reduces the risk of pinching or irritatingthe tail.
Tip: Make sure the straps are secure but not tight in the braid.

5 lighting programs and long runtime
You get five lighting programmes, including two daytime flash modes, where a pulsing light is often noticed faster than a constant beam. Runtime varies by mode and can reach up to 29 hours, making it practical for both daily training and longer rides. USB charging makes it easy to keep the light ready for your ride—both at home and at the yard.
  • (Click HERE for more information about lighting programmes and runtime.)

Operation is simple:
Hold the mode button for about 2 seconds to switch on/off, and press to change programme.
The system has mode memory, so the light starts in the mode it was switched off in—ideal when you need to get going quickly.

Built for everyday use
The tail light is IPX4 water resistant, making it suitable for typical riding in changeable weather such as light rain and wet conditions. The reflective strip also provides passive safety, even if you’re not using the LED light.

Benefits
  • 5 lighting programmes incl. 2 daytime flash modes
  • Runtime: 5–29 hours (mode dependent)
  • Non-slip fit: 2 elasticated straps with silicone grips
  • USB rechargeable (cable included)
  • IPX4 water resistant for riding in light rain and wet conditions
  • Reflective strip provides passive visibility—even without LED
Hi-vis LED tail light for horses improves rear visibility with reflective + LED, secure attachment and long battery life—ideal for safer road riding.

Back in 1989, Louise Woof launched the groundbreaking "Woof Boot", the very first ironing gaiters made from neoprene - until then, leather gaiters had been used. This was a huge step forward as it meant that horses could now wear leg protection in a lightweight material rather than the heavier leather gaiters. For more than 40 years now, Woof Wear has been at the forefront of equestrian equipment for horse and rider, and its products are appreciated around the stables by professionals, hobby riders and the British police.
