Weaver Leathers roots in the equestrian industry run deep. Founded in 1973, the brand started as a two-person equipment and shoe shop - Fryburg Shoe Shop, which has evolved significantly over time. Harry quickly saw an opportunity in the market for reliable and sturdy equipment and started by manufacturing leather halters and selling them to local equipment stores. The halters quickly became a hit with shop owners and horse owners alike, creating a demand for more leather products from the small business, which was initially housed in a 6x12m garage. Harry took up the challenge and changed the business name to Weaver Leather Goods.
Today, the company holds on to the values of the past but keeps its eyes on the future. The team strives to maintain the solid quality that Harry started with, while developing and meeting the future needs of the modern horse owner.
